EASPD aims to be proactive on the European level to be able to shape the social policy agenda of the EU. We do this in order to try and make the provision and access to high quality of services for people with disabilities and their families become a reality for all citizens who need these support structures, with theultimate goal of improving their quality of life.
At the same time, EASPD and its members must react to European legislation and participate in the decision making process to inform decision makers of the providers' point of view. These reactions are extremely important for ensuring accessible and adaptable services for people with disabilities.
