The 2011 booklet of the EASPD is investigating in depth the future of services by bringing together key actors, policy-makers and users on their idea of the future of services to people with disabilities.
Important contributions with the European Disability Forum and Inclusion Europe are paving the way for new collaborations between User's organisations and Service providers' organisations to better include people with the disabilities in their societies.
An entire section is dedicated to innovative organisations using new approaches to include people with disabilities: from Atempo to Glad-TV, from Enviter-Hipen to Adecco some good examples are made: read more about it!
Following, a section dedicated to the international frameworks shaping tomorrow’s services will try to shed light on the relevant legal instruments shaping our daily work as service providers.
Furthermore, the role of technology in helping people with disabilities living a more inclusive life is analysed and the "EASPD's strategy for the future of services" is outlined and stated as conclusion of this issue.
