ImPaCT in Europe was a Networking Project in the field of ICT and disability financed by the Life-long Learning Programme of DG Education and Culture. The project ended the 31st of December 2011.
The objective of the ImPaCT in Europe network was to “accelerate the effective participation of target groups at risk of exclusion and improving their quality of life” by facilitating the development and implementation of PCT, stimulating the effective use of ICT-enabled services and competence building of the end users of PCT.
ImPaCT in Europe led to the creation of a long lasting Network, embedded in the structure of EASPD. This platform is used to exchange information, develop innovation and to mainstream and disseminate good practice in the deployment of PCT throughout Europe, especially thanks to EASPD 10.000 members. EASPD will include the project outcomes in its dedicated « Interest Group on ICT and Assistive technology » keeping the network alive and growing.
