In its paper, EASPD stated it would support a new Disability Strategy that will facilitate the full implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities across Europe and that will provide for a wide framework which is clear and binding for all involved parties, creating impetus for progress across all European Commission services and European institutions.
