Conférence de Nottingham

Nottingham Community Housing Association hosted the international Assistive Technology conference "Breaking the barriers between Stakeholders"

in the framework of the ImPaCT in Europe project,

co-ordinated by EASPD

At the end of September, NCHA hosted a conference in Nottingham in association with EASPD (European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities). The event was hosted as part of the ImPaCT in Europe, a project aiming at raising awareness of Person Centred Technology (PCT).

The conference programme brought together key people from across Europe to demonstrate how assistive technology can significantly support independence for people with disabilities in a person centred way.

The conference was supported by exhibitions from Tunstall, SMaRT, Halliday James and SupraUK.

Approximately 100 people attended from across Europe, and had the opportunity to learn about experiences in other countries through a range of presentations and workshop discussions.
