Project Description
NQF stands for National Qualification Framework and offers training programmes the possibility of being integrated into officially accredited systems of education. Thus this projects wants to develop a model for accreditation and certification of trainings and apprenticeships by using the European and National Qualification Frameworks.
Objectives

Making it easier for people with (learning) disabilities or people from sectors of society where educational achievement is low to accomplish an official certification of their skills and therefore make it easier for them to find an employment

Creating awareness on the problems occurring without a national qualification certificate

Building networks with stakeholders interested in the idea

Facilitate the implementation of the concept of the project

Exchange of know-how gathered and developed during the project
Motivation
In our society it is often the case that basic vocational training for disadvantaged persons, or persons from sectors of society where educational achievement is low, tends to be on a lower level than officially accredited training. The result is that participants do not always receive officially accredited certification of their achievements.
