All Children count but not all children are counted

EASDP signed the open letter to the UN and its member states "All Children count but not all children are counted" signed by over 250 children’s and disability rights organisations, and academics which argue that it is vital to ensure that the framework for monitoring the implementation of the SDGs captures children living outside of households and/or without parental care.

This publication summarises the milestones of the past 20 years whilst looking at the future challenges for the years to come to achieve high-quality support services for persons with disabilities in Europe.

The European Commission launched on 17th November their Autumn Package, outlining their economic and social priorities for the year ahead. The package outlines the Commission’s view that additional investment is now needed to achieve an economic recovery which benefits all. EASPD welcomes this positive re-alignment from the European Commission to invest in people and social infrastructure.
