This year's edition confirms positive labour market and social trends and continued economic growth. With over 234 million people having a job, employment has never been as high as today in the EU, and unemployment is at its lowest level since December 2008. Read more
The FutureLab Europe programme is selecting bright, active and young Europeans aged between 20 and 30 who want to play an active role in shaping the future of Europe by implementing a project with a civic impact. Selected participants will convene to Brussels in January 2018 for the FutureLab Europe Annual Forum – a four-day programme during which FutureLabbers meet each other to discuss relevant topics for the future of our continent with European stakeholders. Karin Astegger, one of our board members, was elected chairperson of Salzburg’s regional Independent Monitoring Committee for the implementation of the UNCRPD. This committee has the role to monitor and advise on the implementation of UN CRPD at a regional level. Read more
