The 2015 edition of EASPD’s Project Development Workshop “Put the puzzle together” took place on the 6th of May in Zadar, Croatia and brought together more than 60 participants across Europe eager to discover what is needed to embark on a successful EU-funded project.
The complexity of aspects related to project development was tackled through the new “3D” approach – Design, Dissemination and Development. The inaugural plenary session focused on ‘Design’ and was dedicated to present the current EU funding programmes 2014-2020 and to explain the step-by-step procedure that supports the different stages of Project Cycle Management.
Various aspects making up a successful project were discussed at the ‘Market Place’ through good practice examples in project management, innovative ideas or approaches, good quality outputs, etc. Finally, during the “Project LAB” participants were divided in six working groups focusing on different themes (employment; education; independent living; person-centred technology; arts, culture and sport, workforce development & HR). Through interactive discussions and with the help of various materials, at least two project ideas were developed per working theme. All project concepts as well as the main conclusions of the project development workshop will be gathered in a report which will be available mid-June.
