4000196 Cluj-Napoca
Mr. Damian Ovidiu:

Our Association, under the guidance of the Curative Education Federation, has developed a specific curative education curriculum, approved by the Ministry of Education. In the autumn of 2006, Hans Spalinger Association (AHS) became the first NGO in Romania to offer education services to children with severe mental disabilities through the state special education network. We now have 4 curative education classes, 11 teaching staff trained in the curative education alternative, while the running costs and staff wages as well as meals and transportation of the children to and from the centre are covered by the state education system. 2006 was also the year when our association started to offer support and counselling services to the parents of children with disabilities.
