The 14th International Conference on Computers Helping People with Special Needs (ICCHP) will be held at Université Paris 8 - Saint Denis from 9 – 11 July 2014 (pre-conference 7 – 8 July 2014). ICCHP focuses on Assistive Technology (AT) and accessible ICT for people with disabilities and older adults enabling a more independent life, participation and inclusion and improved services and support.
Keynote speaker Stephane Natkin is chair professor at the department of Computer Science of the Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers (CNAM) in Paris, France and elected member of the administrative board of CNAM. ICCHP provides a unique platform for end users, researchers, developers and practitioners including amongst others: a scientific conference presenting and discussing reviewed papers, a special track on Universal Learning Design, a Young Researchers Consortium, a pre-conference with workshops and tutorials, and a programming competition "Project Possibility". ICCHP has been attended by more than 400 international and 200 national guests in the last years making it a major event in this field.
