On 6th-7th September the AMiD project partners gathered in Tampere (Finland) for the 3rd AMiD project meeting.
During the meeting, all partners defined the features and content of the online Needs Assessment Tool that will be used by professionals to better assess the support needs of migrants with disabilities in the EU. In addition, the partners discussed the structure of the upcoming training courses targeted at NGOs working both with migrants and/or persons with disabilities to increase their knowledge on the different sectors.
To follow this meeting, on the 11th-12th October, the AMiD Community Advisory Board met in Brussels to debate on the outcomes of the project meeting in Tampere. Participants from local authorities and NGOs provided useful inputs on the development of projects’ outputs and discussed possible involvement of the AMiD project in future public events.
