Workshop: Entrepreneurial Competences. Innovation in Social Entrepreneurship
The training on creative thinking and social entrepreneurship is a three-day long, hands-on experience where participants, teachers, practitioners, staff members, can experience and exchange ideas about creative thinking, innovation and entrepreneurship. Read more

Video: Meet the winners of the 2016 Access City Awards
In December 2015, the European Commission announced that Milan (Italy) is the winner of the 2016 Access City Award. Wiesbaden (Germany), Toulouse (France), Vaasa (Finland) and Kaposvár (Hungary) were also awarded for their efforts to improve accessibility for people with disabilities and the elderly. Read more
Final call for ASSISTID Marie Sklodowska-Curie proposals 2016
ASSISTID is a € 9 M EU Marie Curie co-fund research programme which is funded by the charity RESPECT and the EU for 5 years from 2014 to 2019 and coordinated by the DOCTRID Research Institute. The programme will fund up to 40 researchers to carry out individual projects on Intellectual Disability and / or Autism, examining how Assistive Technologies can improve quality of life and inclusion. Researchers will be based in universities, industry partners and ID service providers throughout Ireland the UK, the USA and other countries. Read more

ENTELIS released its 13th Newsflash
In this edition you will find the latest news about the ENTELIS project. Katerina Mavrou from the European University Cyprus describes the first phase of the Living Lab that took place in Cyprus, the results obtained as well as the anticipated outcomes. The next article from our ENTELIS blog was written by Marcia Scherer, IMPT President, explaining what she calls “choice overload” and how to face it in the field of Assistive Technology (AT) / Information and Communication Technology (ICT) field. Launch of ProACT, a Horizon 2020 project on developing an integrated technology ecosystem for patient-centred care
January 2016 has marked the kick-off of ProACT, a project funded under the European Commissions' research and innovation programme, Horizon 2020. ProACT (Integrated Technology Ecosystem for ProACTive Patient Centred Care) will address a major EU research priority in personalised healthcare to develop advanced ICT systems and services for Integrated Care. International Congress on the cooperation between VET and Sheltered Workshops as a step towards inclusive communities
The partners of the project iVET4D “Vocational Education and Training for disabled people” organise on 2nd June 2016 in Brussels, Belgium, the International Congress “Making it work together: cooperation between VET and Sheltered Workshops as a step towards inclusive communities” which will take place from 13h00 to 17h00 at Thon Hotel Brussels City Centre. Unapei launches its first White Paper on multiple disabilities
Each year between 0.7 and 1 new born baby in 1000 have multiple disabilities. Yet this is still very little known. The Unapei published on 25 March, its first White Paper devoted to people with multiple disabilities so that they can finally exert full and effective citizenship, and they can get adaptable and affordable support services. On this occasion, the EASPD member organisation Unapei announces the launch of the "Pacte Polyhandicap" to disseminate recommendations to public authorities and recommendations to institutions and services.
