The Alliance for Inclusive Investment in Social Care and Support (a4i project), funded by Erasmus +, was launched in 2019 to support collaboration between investors and social care providers by developing common skills and understanding thanks to a unique and innovative content structure and teaching approach.
Coordinated by the European Association of Service providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD), the project partnership brings together representatives of higher education institutions, private investors and social services from Belgium, Spain and Czech Republic including Health ClusterNET, the Human Rights Institute of Carlos III University, Fundacion ONCE, University Mondragon, Caja Laboral Kutxa, the Association of Social Service Providers in the Czech Republic, the CEVRO Institut, Česká spořitelna, UNIPSO, Université de Liège, FEBEA andCREDAL.
1. Tender specification
EASPD and its partners are looking for a videographer, who can edit several video contents, that will be used for a pedagogical purpose on a MOOC.
2. Main elements of work
The successful candidate will be required to edit videos for 13 course modules, each consisting of 1 video of introduction (5min) and 1 commented PowerPoint through the LOOM application made by project partners (15-20min). Most technical materials (unedited recordings) will be provided by EASPD and its partners. The Recorded input will need to be edited for ensuring a common format and smooth transition between each part of the module and each module. In that regard, a visual (and possibly musical) common framework (i.e. cover slide) for each will need to be developed. It would also be important to include subtitles in English and – preferably – French, Czech and Spanish onto the videos.
Deadline for application: 14th May 2021
Deadline for response: 28th May 2021
Selected applicants are expected to conclude the assignment by 31st August at the latest.
4. Selection and award criteria
The applicant(s) should submit the following documents until 14th May, 23:59 CET:
- A motivation letter describing your expertise and explaining why you are the right candidate(-s) for the assignment (not more than 1 page).
- A technical proposal explaining how you plan to produce the final videos, resources needed and budget, etc. (not more than 1-2 pages).
- CV, including the list of published videos, if relevant.
Only selected candidates will be contacted.
5. Content of the bids
The tenderer will ensure that their bid clearly identifies how they meet the selection criteria. It would also be useful to see examples of previous work demonstrating their ability to produce videos.
6. Payment and Standard Contact
Payment will be made on receipt of the videos in its completed form, following the approval of the a4i project consortium.
The Contract will be drawn up between EASPD and the contractor.
The contract will be awarded to the tenderer whose offer represents the best value for money, taking into account the quality of submitted document and individual expertise. The contract will only be awarded to a tenderer who clearly proves that they have knowledge, experience and expertise.
