EASPD is consulting widely on possible changes to our internal rules (its constitution and how it operates). We last did this 23 years ago and are now a very different organisation. We need to update our rules, so we can operate effectively in the future. Our main objective is to make EASPD a more member-led organisation, able to operate within recent Belgian legislation affecting bodies like EASPD, with clearer roles and greater transparency of operation.
An important part of being more member-led is to listen to the views of members about these changes – but don’t worry - you will not need to read through pages of legal text! We have created a short survey which is available HERE asking for your views on the possible changes. You can complete the survey anonymously if you want to. The survey summarises and simplifies the changes and if you want to read any of the original documents they can be found HERE.
By participating in the survey, you will have the chance to win one of the 3 conference fee waivers for the Helsinki Conference on 3-5 October. The winners will be selected via an on-line random name picker tool. Please note that if you choose to reply to the survey anonymously, then you will not be eligible to participate in the competition.
We kindly invite you to ACCESS THE SURVEY and tell us what you think. It won’t take you long and all replies will be treated in confidence.
The consultation deadline is 21st July. The winners of the conference fee waivers will be individually informed on 22nd July.
Thank you for helping us all make EASPD more member-led!
