On November 21st 2014, the third steering group meeting of DELAROSE Project was held at SUPSI (University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland) in Lugano, Switzerland. The meeting was led by the progress updates on all the work packages up to the mid-term point of the project. The revision of project progress was to ensure that the whole team will reach the aim to run a pilot DELAROSE programme in WIT, KFU and SUPSI in 2015. The goal, in the end, is to keep on the schedule to have a full DELAROSE programme available to the health and social care sector by 2016.
The dissemination seminar was integrated with the meeting on the same date. A comprehensive presentation of the DELAROSE project was delivered by the Swiss partner (SUPSI) to the audience. Partners from Austria also illustrated practices used to cope with stress at work. Overall, participants were provided with information, leaflets and contacts of the project.
DELAROSE stands for Delivering E Learning Accreditation to Reduce Occupational Stress in Employment and is funded by Léargas under the Transfer of Innovation of the EU Leonardo da Vinci funding scheme. The project team includes HEIs (WIT, in Ireland; the Karl Franzens University (KFU) in Graz, Austria and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland – SUPSI), King's College London and the University of Lincoln from the UK; EASPD, based in Belgium; the National Federation of Voluntary Bodies and Cluain from Ireland; Promente Steirmark from Austria.
