One of the key pillars of EASPD’s work is our commitment to keep our members well informed and to facilitate the exchange of information.
To ensure that we continue to keep our members up to date with our activities over the past year EASPD has released its 2017 Annual Report.
The 42-page reports details EASPD’s structure and governance and our highlights of the past year including our key policy milestones, latest publications, events and project work as well as a financial report.
The Annual Report is supported by an External Communication Report, which details EASPD’s online communication activities and reach over the past year.
Reflecting on the last year and EASPD’s biggest achievements EASPD Secretary General Luk Zelderloo said: ‘In a year in which we saw a renewed commitment by the European Institutions to achieve a more social Europe, EASPD has made significant progress in its mission to support the delivery of the support services of tomorrow. This year we have grown as an organisation, reaching out to members, both new and old, reaching out to new opportunities for cooperation and reaching out towards innovation.’
Looking to the future and EASPD’s activities in 2018 under the guidance of our new Strategy 'Commit!' Mr Zelderloo said: ‘EASPD’s greatest strength is its members and in 2018 we will focus on increasing our member-led approach. We will work together and we will unlock the knowledge of our members as we lead, support and upscale innovation in our sector to secure the full implementation of the UN CRPD. 2017 was a great year for EASPD. But 2018 will be even better!’
