Wednesday 3rd June 2020, 10h00-12h00 CEST
The European Commission is mobilising all means at their disposal to face the challenges brought by COVID-19 outbreak. One of the measures put in place is the Coronavirus Response Investment Initiative (CRII and CRII Plus) which seeks to re-direct unspent EU Structural Funds to national, regional & local communities fighting COVID-19.
The CRII has the potential to play a role in addressing the impact of the outbreak in social services across the EU. The CRII foresees the adaptation of the ESIF rules to respond to this situation, but there is still a lot of uncertainty on how these rules work and especially how social services can benefit from the new flexibility and the opening of new funding opportunities. This webinar is bringing together all relevant actors at national and European levels - European Commission, Managing Authorities, service providers and organisations representing social services users - to engage in a constructive dialogue and exchange of innovative ideas on how to use the CRII to ensure the continuity and quality of care and support services.
The webinar will be the opportunity for you to engage with the European Commission and Managing Authorities and shape the measures developed to boost CRII funding for social services. If you have additional or pressing funding needs linked to your response to the COVID-19 outbreak, the CRII and CRII Plus are built to help fulfil these needs. It is now time to turn that in practice.
To be able to best understand the type of projects you need funding for, we request that you fill out this short project form and return it to firstname.lastname@example.org by 26th May. This information has been requested by the European Commission and Managing Authorities to assess funding needs and provide answers to your questions during this webinar.
This webinar will provide a unique space to communicate with the European Commission and Managing Authorities and potentially transform your funding needs into EU funded projects. As a result, we urge you to submit your completed template and join us on 3rd June for this webinar.
