The European Social Innovation Competition 2018 is already launched. Organized in memory of Diogo Vasconcelos, the Competition calls all Europeans to come up with solutions to the problems affecting our society. This year they are looking for initiatives that use new technologies to improve the quality of life, especially for young people. The 3 best initiatives will receive a prize of 50,000€.
The competition is now open to individuals, groups and organisations across the European Union and in countries participating in the European Horizon 2020 programme.
The deadline to submit an entry is the 27th of April.
This prize is run by the European Commission with the objective of getting young people involved, engaged and empowered to make the most of new opportunities and supported to develop the skills and capabilities to shape and lead the new economy. Find here all the information.
