Robert-Kümmert-Akademie gGmbH (RKA) from Würzburg, Germany, will apply for a mobility project for students and trainers under the Erasmus+ Programme in March 2014. They are active partners in the ECC project ‘Not Patients, but Citizens with Rights’, so they would like to link it to the European Care Certificate (ECC: www.eccertificate.eu), a basic entry certificate for staff in the social care sector.
The project idea is:
- Student mobility: a 4 week placement at a service provider for persons with disabilities in May 2015 or April 2016
- Trainer mobility: 1 week visit during the 4 weeks that the students stays in the partner organisation
- During this week, the hosting organisation will offer a bilingual or English ECC training course for local staff or students and the German students. It will be carried out by the German trainer and a trainer from the partner organisation based on the new training materials from the project ‘Not Patients, but Citizens with Rights’, the ECC project coordinated by EASPD.
RKA is seeking 5 partners for a project in 2015 and another 5 for 2016. They would like to send 2 or 3 students and 1 trainer to each partner organisation.
