Last Friday 28 June, EASPD organised and hosted the final seminar of NEWSCAT project. The event gathered representatives of European regional offices, tourism agencies, professionals working in the touristic chain, and social enterprises. The meeting was a fruitful opportunity for participants to discover Newscat’s outputs, to hear directly the experiences of accessible tourism in four different European destinations, and for an exchange of ideas on possible future collaboration for a more inclusive tourism sector.
The project has also launched its free online training course which it has developed for students and professionals working in the tourism sector to learn the basics of Accessible Tourism and to introduce the skills of Customized Accessible Tourism.
