We have seen how the whole world has been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, as this virus does not discriminate. Now more than ever it is time to stick together and support one another. Here at the EASPD headquarters our usual work focus and routine may have changed as we develop ways to provide guidance and advice through this challenging time, but we continue to support our members the way we know how. By giving them the possibility to learn from each other, listening to their messages, and voicing them to policy makers. You can find out more about our work with the EU institutions to highlight the main challenges affecting care providers in our latest video flash below. We have been reaching out to our members, local actors on the ground, to find out their main challenges. Thank you to all those who have taken the time to answer our questions, it is important for us to hear from you so that we can plan ways in which we can offer support. We have also been working to provide platforms where our members can connect, never before has peer learning and the sharing of best practices been so relevant. Our members may be on different sides of the continent but their concerns are mostly the same. Our weekly Wednesday webinars are part of a series dedicated to support on COVID-19 and you can watch a previous version or find out when the next one will be here. Our dedicated Facebook group continues to be an online space for service providers to exchange good practices and experiences, if you haven’t already joined you can find it here. By ‘joining forces’ we can get through this together.
Stay in touch and stay safe,
