CISCOS - Connecting Inclusive Social planning, Community development and Service provision for persons with disabilities – is a European project funded by Erasmus+ Knowledge Alliance.
Developed by partners representing academia, support service providers, and public authorities, CISCOS’s objective is to build up a new and multidisciplinary approach to inclusive social planning. The project has developed an open training course addressing crucial topics in service provision, focusing on disability & local planning, community development and its implications for service providers, and adoption of inclusive service models.
The CISCOS training course contributes to building the innovation capacity of the local care provision sector, resulting in more responsive, flexible and individualised services. Those are fundamental aspects for increasing the quality of services and therefore improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities.
In the project’s final event, the partnership will present the training course and the development process and explain why inclusive planning is so essential for social care and support services.
