Last chance to register for The European Inclusion Summit 2020

This is your last chance to register for The European Inclusion Summit 2020 on the 17th November 2020, initially planned to be held in May 2020 but postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.   During the event, activists from all over Europe including representatives of persons with disabilities, ombudspersons as well as representatives of civil society are invited to share their ideas and provide input for a strong future European Disability Strategy 2020-2030.

New EU Parliament briefing on the future of the Social Economy

The European Parliament’s Research Department have just published a new briefing on the future for the Social Economy at EU level.

After defining the Social Economy, the briefing focuses on the five pillars for EU intervention on social economy: 1. Access to finance; 2. Access to markets to encourage cooperation between traditional and social economy players; 3. Provision of framework conditions (i.e. mapping of the state of play of the social economy); 4. Innovation and new business models; and 5. International relations.
