The European Association of Service providers for Persons with Disabilities call on the EU to ensure that the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 works for everyone and enables the inclusion of all in Europe, by investing in the provision of high quality support services.
Today in Varna, Bulgaria, the European Association of Service providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD) opened its Annual Conference: ‘Social Economy as an Effective Model for Social Inclusion', with a call for all stakeholders to join it in its commitment to support Europe’s growing Social Economy and ensure the inclusion and the participation of all in society.
EASPD to raise awareness of Assistive Technologies as a human rights enabler at the United Nations in New York
On the 13th June the European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD) will co-host a side event at the 11th Conference of States Parties to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UN CRPD). The event will focus on the role of assistive technologies to enable people with disabilities to enjoy their rights.
EASPD speaks up on the importance of investing into the provision of high quality, community based, support and care services to create a more inclusive Europe.

Pour son 20ème anniversaire, l'Association européenne des prestataires de services pour les personnes en situation de handicap (EASPD) a organisé le jeudi 20 Octobre la conférence «Développer ensemble les services d’accompagnement de demain". Plus de 250 délégués de toute l'Europe ont participé aux discussions sur la façon de développer ensemble les services d’accompagnement de demain, ce qui permet la pleine intégration dans la société des personnes handicapées.
L’EASPD a organisé au Parlement européen le 28 juin un séminaire sur la création d'emplois dans le secteur des services sociaux. Les membres du Parlement européen (MPE), des représentants des services sociaux, des syndicats et des organisations représentant les personnes handicapées ont demandé à la Commission européenne (CE) et le Parlement européen (PE) à faire plus pour soutenir en Europe les services sociaux de haute qualité - grâce à une formation adéquate des professionnels.
