Have your say in the review of the Web Accessibility Directive

Since 23 June 2021, all public sector websites and mobile apps in the EU must be accessible to people with disabilities. A review of the application of the Web Accessibility Directive in practice is now underway.

The Commission invites everyone – citizens, especially persons with disabilities and older people, as well as organisations and professionals in public and private sector to respond to the surveys – to share their views via a traditional and an easy to read online public consultation.

The two surveys are available in all EU official languages and will close on 25 October 2021.

The results of the consultation will feed into the review of the impact of the directive on making public sector websites and mobile apps accessible. The findings of the review will be published in June 2022.
