EASPD hosts online Knowledge Café on social impact of Alzheimer's!
Alzheimer's disease has an impact that goes beyond the health and family of the persons living with it. It is important to understand the social impact it has and how must we deal with it. In fact, with demographic ageing, Alzheimer’s disease continues to grow at an accelerating rate worldwide.
To bring light to this issue, the EASPD Knowledge and Innovation team is hosting a webinar on the social impact of Alzheimer's on 27th January 2022 at 14:00h CET.
The webinar will be held in collaboration with the Co-Care project and Alzheimer Europe, and will focus on new capacity building and knowledge sharing opportunities for stakeholders in the social services sector. The discussions will also include making dementia an EU policy priority and the work that Alzheimer Europe has done to achieve this. Furthermore, Co-Care will present the goals and aspirations of the project.

Alzheimer Europe is a non-profit non-governmental organisation (NGO) that aims to change perceptions, policy and practice in order to improve the lives of people affected by dementia, by providing a voice to them and their caregivers and making dementia a European priority.
