Scholarships to promote artistic training for people with disabilities

Grupo Sifu is launching the 3rd edition of "Superarte Scholarships" to promote artistic creativity, equal opportunities and support the development of music and dance for people with disabilities.

Grupo Sifu is launching the 3rd edition of "Superarte Scholarships" to promote artistic creativity within a framework of equal opportunities and support the development of music and dance for people with disabilities.

The purpose of the present call for applications is to award up to ten arts scholarships:

Up to five scholarships in the "Higher Education" category  aimed at applicants seeking a professional career in the field of music or dance.

Within this category, the following scholarships will be awarded:

  •  A maximum of four scholarships of up to €6,000 each.
  • One scholarship of up to €10,000 for piano excellence, in collaboration with Fundación Jesús Serra.

 A maximum of five scholarships in the "Elementary and Professional Education" category aimed at artists who wish to continue their studies or undertake specialisation courses focused on music or dance, in an amateur capacity (up to €1,500 per grant).

In addition, all the successful applicants will receive support from the Foundation, giving them the opportunity to take part in awareness-raising events, master classes and specific training.

Mónica López received a scholarship from Fundación Grupo SIFU foundation that enabled to perfect her singing skills, becoming the first soprano with a disability to perform at the Gran Teatre de Liceu in Barcelona.
