EASPD's snapshot report provides insight into how the rising cost of living impacts social services in the disability sector.

Description

Based on data collected through a questionnaire from service providers in eight different EASPD countries, this snapshot report offers insight into the impact of the rising cost of living on social services in the disability sector. It provides initial information on the extent to which service providers are affected, the practices they are putting in place to mitigate these impacts, as well as recommendations for public authorities to provide better support.

The report argues for the need for effective government support to help disability service providers cope with the cost of living crisis, and to catalyse their transformation into more resilient and modernised entitities. It also warns against inaction, which would have direct consequences on the continuity and quality of support services.
