DIG-i-READY project on digital inclusion in VET hosts closing conference in Brussels!
The DIG-i-READY project on digital inclusion in Vocational Education and Training (VET) in Europe is hosting a final event to present the two project results:
1. Good Practices Catalog
Both these project results can be used by teachers and decision makers in the field of VET, serving as support material to shift to digital education in times of crisis.
The event will focus on presenting these project results and sparking conversation on digital inclusion in schools and its reality in Europe. With a a panel discussion and round table, the event is an opportunity for students, teachers and decision makers to connect with one another and discuss the future of digitally inclusive VET in Europe.
The event will take place on 1st December 2023 from 10h00-13h00 in Brussels. The event is hybrid with an option to join online.
The event will provide further training and guidance on digital inclusion in the education sector and will include:
- Presentation and discussion of promising practices that were adopted by schools all over Europe to transition to online inclusive education during COVID.
- Training on how to switch to online education in an inclusive manner.
- Workshop on a digital competence framework that can be used by educators to check their digital competency to teach online.
For any further questions please contact Tavishi Rekhi, Communications Officer, EASPD.
The DIG-i-READY project was born with the idea of tackling the issues educational establishments faced due to closure of schools during the COVID-19 pandemic, all over Europe. In an effort to guide VET educators and schools, the project partners created a Good Practices Catalog and a Handbook.
