Exploratory study on training of service providers staff based on the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities principles

This study monitors examples of trainings to service providers for persons with disabilities and encourages social service providers and EASPD members to implement the training and to try to translate the principles of the UN CRPD into practice.

Description

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) recognises that all persons with disabilities should enjoy all human rights and fundamental freedoms. In this context, training service providers with appropriate skills and support is essential to promote the implementation of the UN CRPD. This study monitors examples of trainings to encourage social service providers and EASPD members to implement the training and to try to translate the principles of the UN CRPD into practice.
