Co-care project hosts closing conference in Brussels!

Presenting the final project results, Co-Care is coming to Brussels to shed light on care providers for people with Alzheimer's.

Finding technological solutions for improving the skills of informal caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s/Dementia has been the driving force of the Co-Care project.

With the closing of the year, the project partners are ready to present the outcomes of Co-care at the final conference on 14th December 2022 in Brussels.

The closing conference will take place at The Thon Hotel, Brussels, Belgium.

Interpretation in English, Spanish and Portuguese will be available at the event. 

The project aimed to deliver:

  • an online training resources for health, ICT and social studies students to stimulate entrepreneurship in products better suited to the needs of consumers.
  • a toolkit for informal carers to equip them with the knowledge to feel confident choosing ICT-based solutions and how to better use them.
  • an online community of practice where stakeholders can find support and interact with each other.

At the conference, project partners will present these results alongside engaging in discussions regarding the current scenario of Dementia in Europe. Covering an array of topics, they will discuss technological solutions for family caregivers of family members with Alzheimer's/dementia.

The panel will also focus on the lessons learned from the Co-Care project and how can we identify facilitators and barriers for the co-creation of technological solutions for caregivers of people with Alzheimer's.
