AccessibleEU Launch Event
The launch event of the AccessibleEU project will take place on 4th July at the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels, Belgium. The project will create a common European one-stop-shop on accessibility, offering cutting-edge experience, knowledge, and practical skills. This event may be particularly interesting for policymakers, legislators, training professionals in accessibility, and the representatives of accessibility beneficiaries, such as older people, persons with disabilities and others.
Participation in the event is free of charge, but registration is required.
To attend onsite, registration must be done before June 28 (included).
Registration for online attendance can be done until July 4.
The working language is English, with Closed Captioning in English and International Sign Language interpretation.
About the Accessible EU
AccessibleEU is one of the key initiatives proposed in the European Disability Strategy 2021-2030. The consortium which works on this Project is formed by ENAT, EASPD, University Johannes Kepler Linz, and UNE and is led by Fundación ONCE.
The platform is a resource centre on accessibility, working on the areas of the built environment, transport, information, communication technologies, and policies to ensure persons’ with disabilities participation in all areas of life on an equal basis with others.
